  Library scavenger Hunt Students need to be able to successfully navigate the school library in pursuit of curriculum assignments. This activity is for 7th graders new to the physical library plant as a hands-on follow up to a general orientation session.
  Learning to Live Responsibly Within One's Personal Essential Questions: How does our attitude towards material goods effect our lives? How can careful expenditures improve our quality of life? How do our consumer habits effect the world's natural resources and environment?
  Writing a Business Letter Students will be asked to share their knowledge of letter forms; in particular business letter forms. Information concerning the purpose of this lesson and subsequent writing exercise will be discussed.
  Who Am I; And Why Do I Do What I Do? Students will be directed to draw upon the knowledge learned in earlier sections of the personal exploration unit, including: work values, hobbies, interests, skills, aptitudes, and the definition of personality.
  Introduction to Power Point Students will learn correct procedures to create Power Point presentations.
  Exploring Careers This unit provides students with early career exploration. This exploration is based on interests, aptitudes, and skills. The students use several methods to find personal aptitudes, interest areas, and current skill development that is then applied to career research. The students have the opportunity to compare two careers and create a visual representation of the careers’ differences using Excel.
